Your first step to a "Family Disaster Recovery Plan"

Wise_Emergency_Meals

Hi Friends, Welcome to our SOS FOOD Blog

I suffered a near catastrophic illness on 9/20/2007.  Over the last 3 years, I have re-learned to walk, talk and think logically. I am still recovering from my illness and continue to heal.  At the peak of my contracting career I commanded an above average salary.  All the standard stuff...but I didn't prepare for my family of five's basic need for food and supplies in the event of an unexpected disaster. My disaster was the loss of my income.

This should have been as simple as one of my Disaster Preparedness Audits I performed for several Fortune 50 companies and numerous Fortune 500 companies across the United States of America.

In the midst of my illness, I was unable to even think or care about the needs, food or my family. My daily routines were in the hands of others.  As I reflect on my circumstances, the burden transferred to my wife was not necessary had I followed my own advice and developed a family disaster recovery plan.

As part of my healing process, I promised myself I would start over from scratch like I did with my walking and talking therapies. So now I’m sharing with you part of my healing journey and give you an opportunity to avoid the same type of disaster.  SOS is known world-wide as EMERGENCY and the food we sell is just for that occasion.

To quote a fraternity brother,"first things first", let us buy some #SOS Food for our future, unforeseen event!

#The US Government and the American Red Cross urge each family to be prepared to care for themselves for the first 72 hours after a natural disaster or emergency situation.
